Which MOT Class is my vehicle?

Most vehicles will need a class 4 MOT test. This covers most private cars and vans up to 3t. Vans over 3t will need a Class 7 MOT test and these need to be performed at a workshop with the appropriate bay. Will my car still need a service?

An MOT test is not a substitute for a service as it doesn’t cover all the same checks and doesn’t include things like top-ups and repairs. It’s often more economical and time-saving to book your vehicle in for a service at the same time. That way, we can alert you to any issues that might arise before the MOT test is performed, so you can get them sorted and save a possible re-test. It can also save you a visit to the garage later on.
